ClickMeeting, a provider of popular videoconferencing software as a service (SaaS), won a Bronze Stevie® Award in the tenth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service in the category of COLLABORATION SOLUTION – New Version. The company received the award on Friday, March 4 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas during a gala banquet hosting more than 500 executives from all over the world.

The Stevie Awards organizes leading business award shows, including the American Business Awards and International Business Awards. In this year’s competition, a panel of over 60 judges awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevies, selecting winners in 59 categories for customer service and contact center achievement. The awards for sales and customer service are the world’s top awards for sales, business development, contact centers, and customer service departments.

“Entries to the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service continue to grow every year, further validating the essential roles that business development, customer service, and sales play in business success,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “The widespread support of this program made the 2016 competition that much more intense among finalists. The judges were deeply impressed by the winner’s accomplishments and we congratulate all of the winners on their commitment to excellence and innovation.”

The pace of today’s business environment often demands that teams meet to collaborate immediately. So users have the option to set up a permanent online meeting room where teams can click a link to gather at a moment’s notice. Sales teams can invite prospects to on-the-spot demos, brief the support team on onboarding requirements, and collaborate with new clients.

With a little lead time, a meeting can be scheduled in advance. This gives the organizer time to prepare and upload presentations, documents of all kinds, images, and videos for discussion and markup. Organizers use an intuitive, interface, complete with automated invitations, rebranding tools for customizing the meeting room, and robust statistics engine that provides a global overview and drill-down history of individual participation.

ClickMeeting is scalable, enabling audiences of up to 1,000 to gather online for training, sales webinars, or educational presentations. Presenters and participants can attend events from anywhere in the world using a desktop computer, laptop or free mobile apps for Apple iPad, Android Galaxy, Blackberry PlayBook, iPhone and Android smartphones.

The modular interface accommodates up to 4 presenters, with the option to pass the camera and audio to any participant. A desktop sharing protocol enables presenters to share all or a portion of their screen for demos, training, and review. With permission, the presenter can take control of any participant’s screen to troubleshoot software or clarify a problem.

Every meeting room includes the full functionality of the platform, with the ability to quickly download files for collaborative review and markup. The system includes a one-click recording feature for creating a video file to share on a website or using ClickMeeting free online hosting.

ClickMeeting brings the power of videoconferencing to organizations of any size, from one-person entrepreneurships to large multinational enterprises such as Siemens, Sony, GlaxoSmithKline and Harvard Business Review. Originally developed by GetResponse, ClickMeeting was recently spun-off as an independent company to establish the brand and pursue an aggressive growth strategy. For more information, please visit
